Le Bleu Bird Cafe finally opens and makes a big splash on Main Street

After a long period of construction, a new and exciting establishment has finally opened its doors in Port Washington.  The hype for the café’s opening has been building for over a year, and Port residents now have the opportunity to visit Le Bleu Bird for themselves.  Located at 170 Main Street, Le Bleu Bird Café is open six days a week, from 6:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and is open from 7 a.m.  to 3 p.m.  on weekends.  Le Bleu Bird Café is the perfect place to have a quick breakfast before school and an excellent spot to meet friends for lunch during off periods.

Le Bleu Bird, with its distinctive blue façade, is hard to miss.  The café’s interior is equally inviting, featuring pale blue walls and elegant wooden chairs and tables.

“They have great breakfast and lunch options, and the service was really fast,” said freshman Jacob Bernstein.

Le Bleu Bird Café’s popularity has soared since its grand opening last month, and many people believe that the café was well worth the wait.

“Since I have only been hearing great things about the café, I have been wanting to try it.  A few days ago my mom and sister stopped by this café on their way home and picked up some croissants.  After trying the croissants, I could not believe how amazing this croissant was.  It was one of the best croissants I’ve ever had,” said junior Tori Kesselman.

The restaurant also actively runs a Facebook page, which is a helpful and simple way to gain information about Le Bleu Bird Café.  Posting regularly about updates, hours, and the menu, the Facebook page is an excellent resource for anyone interested in the latest goings-on at the café.  Le Bleu Bird also has an active Instagram account where you can get a glimpse of what the café has to offer.

This charming enterprise offers a wide variety of foods and drinks, including coffee, cupcakes, eggs, pancakes, and sandwiches.  The menu even includes vegetarian and vegan options, in addition to a kids’ section.  Their complete selection is posted on their Facebook page.

Many Schreiber students have already paid visits to the café and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Le Bleu Bird Café is a really good café, and the salted caramel cupcake is my favorite,” said junior Brooke Waller.

Be it breakfast or lunch, this café prepares unique and delicious dishes for every meal, catering to a wide variety of tastes.  Le Bleu Bird Café is becoming very popular in our town and all signs point to its popularity being sustained in the months to come.  In addition to rave reviews from Schreiber students, Le Bleu Bird Café has received much positive feedback online, including an average rating of 4.5 stars out of 5, according to Facebook.
