As temperatures drop and the leaves on the ground pile higher and higher, fall shoe styles transition from sandals and flip-flops to warmer, more comfortable fall footwear.

To avoid the hassle of in-store shopping, online stores sell all types of shoes to help you find the perfect match.  One such company is Zappos, an online store that has an enormous selection of shoes and often-unbeatable prices.

“I can always find exactly what I am looking for when I shop online on Zappos,” said sophomore Carly Hecht.

There are many different types of shoes to wear during this fall season.  A popular fall staple is boots, specifically Ugg Boots.  Not only are they nice and warm, but they are also a trendy, fashionable shoe which just about anybody can pull off.  With so many colors and styles to choose from, Ugg boots can be paired with any outfit, allowing you to add a comfortable feel to your day-to-day look.

Of course, Ugg boots are not the only option.  You can also experiment with boot length and try ankle boots, mid-calf boots, knee boots, or over-the-knee boots.  Ankle boots are a timeless addition to your wardrobe because they are versatile and can be worn with pants, skirts, or dresses.  Some people find over-the-knee boots to be uncomfortable, but they can be a very unique and stylish look.

“I always wear my knee high boots out for dinner with my family. They go great with any outfit and are super cute,” said sophomore Rachel Rosenbaum.

Although shoes are an essential to complete a great outfit, other pieces must be addressed as well.  For many people, fall season means vest season.  Vests are an excellent choice for people looking for unconventional outerwear.  Of course, you need to wear something underneath your vest, and you can’t go wrong with a classic flannel.  A pair of ripped jeans can really complete this look, as this style is casual and in vogue.

While all of these garments can keep a person looking cool all season long, people also need something to keep them warm.  A great place to turn is to the hat rack.  A knitted hat or scarf is a way to add flair to any outfit while keeping you warm.  Fall is a perfect time to showcase seasonal styles and trends in order to make a splash.
