Nothing quite beats a warm gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate between two graham crackers, all by a sparkling campfire. Just the smell of a s’more can conjure memories of summer nights filled with sticky fingers and Hershey’s milk chocolate all over your face.

The s’more is one of the simplest yet most delectable treats. It is no wonder that this delicious dessert is so popular. The s’more can be enjoyed in its natural form, but there are also many other ways to enjoy this sweet treat without the annoyance of a campfire or the messy face of a five year old.

Every dessert lover knows that s’more is an established flavored. You can find s’mores flavored ice cream, cookies, bars, and even Oreos! You don’t even  have to leave your house to enjoy this remarkable taste.

There are many ways to create a s’more at home using your stove or microwave. For those of you who aren’t experts when it comes to kitchen utilities,  you can create a simpler s’more using ingredients such as chocolate spread  and fluff.

Most people already know pastry chef Dominique Ansel as the king of the Cronut. However, he also invented the frozen s’more.  This creation is made of vanilla custard ice cream coated with a crispy chocolate wafer, all stuffed inside a gooey marshmallow.

It is then blown to perfection with a blowtorch and coated with a honey/sugar substance. Although the long lines at Dominique Ansel Bakery are no myth, any true s’more lover needs to try this rave-worthy creation at least once.

For all you bakers out there, there are plenty of ways to incorporate s’mores flavoring into your favorite recipes.  For starters, s’mores cookies are great.  All you have to do is bake a marshmallow on top of a cookie and and add melted chocolate or Nutella on top.

For something more creative, try s’mores pancakes. This amazing twist on a popular breakfast food tastes just as good as you would think. Start by adding graham crackers and chocolate chips into your pancake mix.  While still warm, add Marshmallow fluff in between each pancake layer, and top the stack off with extra chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

Additionally, a popular recipe often  seen on food Instagrams is the smore’s dip. This recipe is perfect if you are having a group of people over, or if you just want to sit in your bedroom alone and indulge in something sweet.

Luckily, this recipe is incredibly simple. Begin by tossing some chocolate chips into a skillet and topping them with jumbo marshmallows.  Bake this for five minutes, and your delicious creation will be complete. Just dip graham crackers in and enjoy this delectable treat, arguably just as good as the old fashioned s’more.

Nothing can truly surpass the classic graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate stack, and as summer approaches, we can almost taste the s’mores.  This treat is probably our all-time favorite dessert, and we are excited to experiment with all the possibilities the simple combination offers us.
