The production of Disenchanted has Enchanted fans excited
For Disney fans, the upcoming news has been making headlines. The sequel to the classic movie Enchanted is coming out in just a few weeks. This first movie, released in 2007, was a huge success. The witty lines, romantic characters, and adventurous storyline left fans wanting more. Watching Giselle and Prince Edward endure obstacles throughout their relationship while the famous Patrick Dempsey, who plays Robert Phillip, chases them down. Giselle is stuck between her two love interests and must come to a decision before the evil witch finds her.
Ten years later, Giselle is beginning to wonder who and what truly makes her happy.Giselle must overcome the challenges she will face in her new normal human life and must learn to adapt to the struggles of an adult in a marriage. Viewers follow her as she is determined to discover who she truly is and what is special about herself.
The cast for the sequel is largely similar, and includes Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, and many others. Fans cannot wait to watch this film and see where Giselle’s new journey takes us.
“I cannot wait to see what this new movie has in store. It is going to be hard to top the first one,” said senior Ava Demarzo.
The sequel begins as Giselle, Robert, and Morgan move to a new house in the suburb of Monroeville, with a new special addition to the family. However, the community is overseen by Malvina Monroe, who does not have the best intentions for the new family.
Due to the rising issues, Giselle desires to change her fate. Giselle begins to wish that her life was all rainbows and butterflies, as it was before she came to our world. Unfortunately, the spell placed upon her and her family by Monroe does not work out in her favor, and she must hurry back to her homeland, the Kingdom of Andalasia, before the clock strikes midnight.
This new animated comedy is a family-friendly, fantasy adventure musical.In addition to the film being released in theaters on Nov. 18, viewers are also able to watch this film on Disney Plus. However, the film will not be available on Disney plus until Nov. 24.
“I am so thrilled that I am able to watch this film on Disney Plus, I’ve been waiting for a new exciting Disney movie forever,“ said freshman Estee Greenberg.
The trailer was released in September, and fans are already excited to see the film. Idina Menzel will be returning to the movie for the sequel. She was the voice of Elsa in Frozen. Menzel is extremely talented and will be a main factor in her ability to tell a story and act in fantasy movies. It is said that Dempsey and Menzel will have multiple singing opportunities together throughout the film. In addition to Menzel, a new actress added to the Enchanted franchise is Maya Rudolph. Rudolph, a famous actor and comedian, has acted in countless animated films before, including Grown Ups and Luca. With her amazing and professional talents this movie will be exciting for everyone to enjoy.
A few weeks ago, star Amy Adams appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and, of course, she was asked many questions about her newest film. She explained that it has been difficult for her because this new sequel has more singing, dancing, and adventure. She elaborated upon how she is required to dance in this, and was not in the same shape as she was in the first version.
“Hearing that this movie will have more exciting dancing, singing, acting, and adventure makes me feel happy because I love to dance, and watch people do what I love,“ said junior Abby Spring.
